Indonesia Bali Paradise – Roasted Coffee
Bali coffee
Bali is famous for its civet coffee, but that does not mean its production is limited to it. On the contrary, coffee trees have ideal conditions on this Indonesian island, so local farmers grow the bushes almost all over the Kintamani highlands, between the volcanoes Batukaru and Agung. They harvest the coffee berries only once a year, between July and September. They usually use the wet method for processing.
In terms of flavour, Balinese coffee tends to be soft, sweet and with a good body. It typically has citrus flavours. It is a highly prized coffee and not usually available. It is most popular in Japan.
