Burundi Kinyovu Profile – Light Roast Coffee

One sip and you’ll be teleported to the heart of an untamed jungle. Burundi Kinyovu Profile is cultivated in the fertile heart of the African Burundi region on the slopes near Tanganika Lake, where the local farmers give it all the love for their craft. Harvested coffee beans are then lightly roasted, which helps the coffee retain its fruity, floral and chocolate tones. Every sip will have you feeling like a part of this wild region. Best prepared on filter. More in product details

Most coffee trees grow at altitudes above 1 250 metres, and the fruit is processed by washing. The plantations employ more than 800,000 Burundian families, with each smallholder cultivating around 250 bushes. Speaking of numbers, Burundi is rated around 30th in the ranking of coffee growers and exports almost 100 % of its production.
