Nepal Mt Everest Supreme – Roasted Coffee
Nepalese coffee
Nepal is a country with considerable coffee potential. The taste of its production is described as rustic, with a mild acidity, some harvests showing flavours of cranberry and prune, velvety body and cedar aroma. The best Nepalese coffee comes from covered plantations, allowing the fruit to mature for a long time. Therefore, the beans can develop their natural flavour and great aroma. Half the coffee from Nepalese farms goes to the local market.
It meets the demand of tourists and expats who enjoy a hot cup of beverage after a strenuous climb up the mountain. It is also crucial to add that although local farms are not officially labelled organic, the quality of Nepali coffee is equivalent to that of BIO-certified coffee.
