About Manucafe
Be Manu
To Manu, or not to Manu… But enough Hamlet.
Though, that at least let us appreciate how pleasing our name is to say. Try it for yourself: Manu.

So sweet-sounding, isn’t it? Rolls right off the tongue. It represents our connection to the wider community, the cultivation, the harvesting, the craft that has for centuries transformed these little red berries into the flavorful roasted beans, and most of all, the determination to find the best tasting, quality coffee in the world. Manual, manufacture and sweet as mana. That’s our mantra.
We weren’t born yesterday. On the foundation of a little Czech e-shop with a not-so-catchy name, we broadened our horizons and built up our brand: Manucafe.
Not that big a change, actually

We knew what worked and – naturally – what to keep. Not a single farmer nor employee was lost in the transition process, and the owner stayed the same, too. Even under a new name, we stayed true to our love for unique coffees, and we’d still travel to Wonderland if that was what it takes to bring the savory, fragrant roasts back for our customers to enjoy. Still thinking about Manu? You may be surprised to find that we took inspiration from Hindu mythology. There, Manu was the progenitor of humans; first man, leader and creator. When a devastating flood laid waste to the land, Manu and his boat were saved by a fish. As the only survivor, he sacrificed milk and butter to the waters. In a year, a woman emerged from the waves – and humanity was saved.
You’ll be saved, too. From the lack of energy in the morning. From boring meetings and relaxing afternoons without the delicious zest and fragrance of our coffee. From the repetitive drag of monotonous espressos, mass-produced blends and lacking offers of retail chains.
Welcome to the world of coffee Manuacs.
By the way… Manu cafe isn’t our only brand.
