Code: 2278

One sip and you’ll be teleported to the heart of an untamed jungle. Burundi Kinyovu Profile is cultivated in the fertile heart of the African Burundi region on the slopes near Tanganika Lake, where the local farmers give it all the love for their craft. Harvested coffee beans are then lightly roasted, which helps the coffee retain its fruity, floral and chocolate tones. Every sip will have you feeling like a part of this wild region. Taste & Crema

The light roast emphasizes the natural flavor of this coffee, ranging from fruity, floral to chocolate tones. It offers a refreshingly pure, layered taste with a slight sourness to it. Coffee prepared on filter does not produce crema, as it’s produced by a pressure extraction method such as espresso.

However, preparing this coffee on a filter offers a clear brew that allows all the subtle flavor nuances to fully emerge.

Origins

Burundi Kinyovu profile comes from the mountainous regions of Burundi, located on the Northeastern shores of Lake Tanganyika. It is known for its fertile slopes and favorable climate, which is ideal for growing premium quality arabica. Coffee plants grow at altitudes 1600-2000m, where cooler temperatures and rich volcanic soil contribute to the exceptional flavor of the beans.

Coffee farms in this area are often family-run businesses where farmers provide the produce with gentle care, from the selection of beans to their processing. In Kinyovu, an area renowned for its coffee, farmers focus on a quality harvest and follow traditional processing methods. After harvesting, the coffee beans are carefully sorted and processed using dry or wet methods, which helps to preserve their flavors.

Burundi Kinyovu Profile has a fresh taste profile that reflects the uniqueness of its soil and climate. With its emphasis on quality and sustainability, this coffee is considered to be a choice coffee and is becoming increasingly popular among coffee connoisseurs.

Coffee packaging preview

Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
