Benefits of raspberries
Let us put the question in reverse - why not eat raspberries? Well, because... - and no legitimate answer comes to our minds. Why? Because raspberries are simply amazing - they are pleasing to the eye and taste, smell good and bring us certain benefits.
Everyone is very familiar with them. Beautifully coloured fruits made up of tiny spheres. A symbol of summer, ice cream and syrups. They grow on a shrub called the raspberry bush and (as the name suggests) are very similar to blackberries. You would find the origin of raspberries in Asia and Europe, but some varieties also come from North America, where they originally grew wild and date back to prehistoric times. They can be found freely throughout the temperate zone but are demanding when grown purposefully.
The lucky ones have them in their garden, but they are also accessible in shops all year round, either as fresh or frozen fruit or in dried form. Raspberry leaves have also become very popular, but that is another chapter. They are popular in desserts, milk drinks and tea blends. Iced tea with raspberries, for example, is a great summer treat.
And the best thing about them is that with increased consumption, you are at maximum risk of overeating.
