Benefits of siberian ginseng
It may not be ginseng in the true sense of the word, but you have to admit that the name Eleutherococcus is just enough to confuse the tongue. So why not take advantage of the name (by which it is known to its grateful users) and its similar effect on our health?
As the name suggests, this plant is native to Siberia. It can also be found in northern China and parts of Japan and Korea. It is popular in Eastern medicine, and in traditional Chinese folk medicine records of it date back two thousand years.
For a long time, Siberian ginseng was overlooked by the Western world. However, due to the great shortage of true ginseng and the significant increase in prices for this item, it has been put at the mercy here as well. Although, what grace if it can do what it can do?
It is a very resilient shrub that tolerates adverse climatic conditions well. It is purpose-grown for commercial use but is also commonly found in the wild. The root has the most beneficial benefits and should be carefully processed and dried at low temperatures during September. It is then chopped into small pieces and can be used to make a flavourful infusion. If you buy products with Siberian ginseng, make sure they contain only the root. The rest of the plant does not contain as many beneficial substances, but many producers increase their sales by doing so.
Consumption is recommended in reasonable doses for a maximum of one month. Then, a few weeks should be taken off.
