Uganda coffee
Uganda focuses mainly on growing robusta, with only 20 % of the local coffee trees being arabica. As far as its flavour is concerned, it is worth your attention. In the cup, we recognize a smooth body and notes of oranges, fruits and black tea. Its aroma can be woody or citrus.
Ugandan coffee is grown at altitudes of 1 300-2 200 metres. The fruit is harvested by farmers from October to April, and the beans are processed by a method called ''washing''.
