Autumn Espresso Blend – Gift Roasted Coffee Tin 300g

Code: 1714

For that colorful time, when leaves slowly follow the wind... we have prepared this limited edition espresso blend. Each of the trio of premium Arabicas is roasted separately while keeping the flavors of the individual coffees in mind. The result is a sophisticated romance, calm, mature and perhaps a little brooding. It plays with notes of dried fruit, walnuts, caramel and slightly piquant spices. Just like autumn.

Taste & Crema

The Autumn Espresso Blend of selected coffee beans is tuned to match the flavor and aroma of the third season, highlighting its uniqueness and leaving a pleasant, warm, round and yet an original sensation on your palate. The deep notes are introduced by the flavors of walnuts and dried fruit, while the sweetness is brought by the creamy smooth caramel. And the slightly piquant spice make a very interesting end to the whole experience. Wait for it, it will only fully develop when your cup has cooled down. You may notice cloves, cardamom, pepper or cinnamon. This espresso blend is suitable for all types of coffee preparation.

Origin

Origin matters. More specifically, the origin, harvesting, processing, transport, storage and roasting matter. And then there's the blending of the individual coffees that are so carefully guarded. In the case of the limited Autumn Espresso Blend, we combined three Arabicas from plantations sought-after by coffee experts. Before we get to them, let's look at the way we've combined them. The story behind this blend will help you understand our approach to espresso, which is very different from most perceptions of "similar" blends.

We select individual coffees with their unique flavor profiles in mind, but we also look for ways in which they can support, complement and enrich each other. Each variety is roasted separately so that the roaster's hard work can bring out the specific and unmistakable notes in each Single Origin Specialty Coffee (i.e. single-origin premium Arabica or Robusta). That is why you will find beans of different colors in the bag or tin. Each coffee has a different degree of roasting, different temperature, intensity of air flow and so on.

Roasting and compiling the best ratio of all coffees requires not only a lot of time, but above all the considerable skill of the roaster, his ability to estimate the result, as well as the patience of the tasters. At the end of our efforts, when everything is successful, we end up with a truly unique espresso blend, which, in the case of the seasonal range, we can only offer in limited quantities. This, on the other hand, is tempting for many customers  no one else can craft the same nor similar coffee for them.

When it comes to preparation, you can use the Autumn Espresso Blend to prepare your favorite beverage in an automatic or lever coffee machine, but you certainly won't go wrong if you test it on a filter, vacuum pot, etc. Each method will bring a new experience of fullness and harmony to your cup.

Now let's get to the trio of Arabicas we've chosen for this limited edition.

From the Angelandia region of Brazil, we've brought the sweet, softly caramel-colored Fazenda Primavera. It is grown by Ricardo Ribeiro Tavares on plantations at an altitude of around 1,000m. Brazilian Arabica is characterised by a soft, delicate flavour, in this case complemented by a touch of roasted walnuts. The vast majority of coffee trees are tended by small farmers, and this is no different with Primavera.

A creamy, rounded note is added by the espresso blend of Ethiopia Guji Anasora Grade 1, a micro blend from farmer Tadesse Edema. He himself comes from a large family of coffee farmers and is the grandson of the founder of the Anasora plantation. His harvest is characterized by flavors of red beans, bittersweet chocolate and spice.

The third piece in the mosaic belongs to the almond, milk chocolate and honeyed Arabica Guatemala SHB El Jaguar. Almond, milk chocolate and honey are the attributes that elevate our espresso blend and delight the coffee lover's heart. It's not a coincidence it has a jaguar in its name, the beast of the rainforest, fast, strong and elegant at the same time.
