Dolce Gusto SealPod
Do you want to prepare high-quality coffee in your Dolce Gusto machine? We have a solution for you: this stainless-steel resealable pod. You can fill it with whatever coffee you feel like having at the moment and reuse it as many times as you like. There is no limit to its use.
This reusable SealPod is compatible with all Dulce Gusto coffee machines.
Includes:
1 x stainless steel SealPod
1 x stainless steel filter
1 x stainless steel cap
1 x silicone lid
Instruction Manual:
- Place the stainless-steel strainer on the bottom of the sealpod. The placement depends on what you are currently brewing: protruding side up for lungo, side-down for espresso.
- Fill with coffee and tamp: Add one measuring spoon of ground coffee. Turn the spoon upside down and use the flat side to press down the coffee using moderate pressure. Check the guideline – if the coffee does not reach it, add more coffee and repeat the process.
- Close the metal lid over the pressed coffee.
- Clean the top part of the pod from residual coffee grounds.
- Seal the pod using the silicone lid.
- Place the pod in your coffee machine: The opening in the silicone lid must be exactly center! This part is crucial. Otherwise, you will not be able to close the coffee machine and risk damaging it.
- Add an appropriate amount of water and brew your coffee.
- Serve immediately.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Wait until the pod has cooled down completely, then remove it and carefully peel off the silicone cap.
- Turn the pod upside down. Remove and discard used coffee grounds. If they remain stuck inside, use a teaspoon or your finger – never knock the pod on sharp edges to avoid damage.
- Remove the metal lid and strainer. Thoroughly rinse all parts (pod, both the lid and the cap, strainer) in warm running water.
- Allow all parts to dry completely. Keep all parts separate to avoid residual humidity.
- Before next use, check all parts for coffee residue.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning products or hard scrubbers – this could damage the product.
- Not dishwasher safe.
Safety Warning
- Do not rush to remove the pod: Once the coffee is done brewing, wait at least a minute before removing the pod. Otherwise, the hot pressure inside might damage the silicone cap.
- Be careful! The pod is extremely hot after use. Avoid touch and wait until it cools down.
- Do not overfill the pod. If you do, or press the coffee down too much, the pressure inside may cause the silicone cap to fly off.
- Do not forget to decalcify the coffee machine: Decalcify every 6 months (or every 300 coffees). If you do not, the coffee machine will lose pressure.
- Do not use a damaged product.
- Keep out of reach of children.
