The natural taste of green coffee is slightly sweet and a little sour at the same time. By adding natural vanilla flavoring, we have achieved a pleasantly refreshing composition with a hint of your favourite spice.
Green coffee does not produce any crema.
Origins
We import green coffee with a high chlorogenic acid content from Central America. It is grown on smallholder plantations. Because they don't have to undersell it to multinationals and know they will be well paid, they are very careful to ensure maximum quality. They grow and harvest the coffee trees with their entire families, and the coffee cherries are processed using traditional techniques and with great care. The fruit of the coffee tree, which resembles a cherry in appearance and size, is harvested continuously throughout the growing season on Central American plantations. They ripen gradually and are poured into large water tanks as soon as harvested. The washing method involves pushing them through crushing plates to remove the pulp.
Then the loosened coffee beans go into fermentation vessels. There, they ferment for up to 36 hours, breaking down the pulp residue and the beans' parchment layers. The resulting green coffee is dried, either in the sun or in kilns, and packed in jute bags.
In the case of flavored green coffee, crushed vanilla and a few drops of natural flavoring are added to the batch. Because it contains no synthetic chemicals, the aroma is completely safe for your health.
Green coffee benefits:
Unroasted coffee beans contain many more health benefits than its roasted counterpart. This is because they have not been subjected to high heat, so there is no decrease in antioxidants or caffeine content. The essential chemical for which green coffee is so popular is chlorogenic acid. Effects of chlorogenic acid, referred to as CGA are:
- promoting breakdown of fats,
- preventing the conversion of sugars to fats and flushing them from the body,
- accelerating the burning process and promoting weight loss as well as reducing appetite
Caffeine in green coffee:
- reduces fatigue and improves concentration,
- contributes to mental and physical vitality;
- relaxes muscles, relieves pain and stress and increases performance.
The ratio of CGA acid is 100,000mg/1kg. Green coffee has antibacterial properties, reducing the risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Drinking green coffee also reduces feelings of hunger.
CAUTION: Green coffee beans are very hard and require a top-quality grinder to grind them. Green coffee can damage commercially available machines. Therefore, we grind the coffee only coarsely. We recommend preparing the beverage by simply pouring boiling water over the ground coffee or using a French press.

Instructions for preparation
Use 14ml of water per 1g of coffee. For 1 cup of coffee use 7g.
Add your coffee and pour over with boiled water.
