Amaretto – Flavored Roasted Coffee
We hope you're familiar with the signature bittersweet almond liqueur. Now, envision infusing a trace of it into every cup of coffee. Amaretto and coffee pair well, so we have been imbuing quality coffee beans with this traditional flavor for years. The outcome is delectable and non-alcoholic. It's the ideal choice for a ladies' night or a business meeting.
Ingredients
100 % Arabica, AromaTaste & Crema
The 100% natural high-altitude arabica gives our Amaretto coffee a beautiful, round, and rich base. It's slightly sweet, and you can also find undertones of fruit and chocolate. But either way, you will discover the wonderful almond flavor of the well-known and popular liqueur. The bittersweet almonds give the coffee a pleasant profile. The crema is supple, soft, and smooth.
Origins
The best Peruvian coffees are exported to Germany, Japan, and the United States. Consumers there are discerning and know precisely why they choose coffee from the Andes. The one we bring from Puno is grown on the steep slopes of the high mountains by small farmers. The coffee plants are grown in a way similar to organic farming, as access to them is difficult, and fertilization or treatment with industrial products is almost impossible.
The fruit of the coffee plants, which resembles cherries in size and colour, is picked several times a season, so that they are always sufficiently ripe. Farmers process them using the wet method or washing. They pour the fruit into large water tanks and push them through sheets to remove the pulp. Fermentation occurs in fermentation tanks, drying the green beans in the sun. Roasting should always happen just short of the sale of the coffee.
That is why we only buy green coffee and roast it after customers order it. During the roasting process, we add carrier oil with natural aromatics. This way, we achieve the coffee's balanced taste and aroma, which is also reflected in the beverage.
Making Flavored Coffee in an Automatic Coffee Machine
|
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations: The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot on prolonged contact.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |
Benefits of coffee
Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
Instructions for preparation
