Taste & Crema

The first sip will already give you the hint that this coffee is all structure and ripeness. The body is syrupy and full, with notes of fermentation that instead of disrupting the taste gives it extra depth. This is gradually joined by the notes of berry fruit, making it lighter and approachable to any coffee lover. The finish is honeyed and sweet, with a floral note of orange tree. The resulting drink feels balanced, round, and very comprehensive – exactly as you'd expect of a well-made naturally processed coffee.

Origins

When we say 'Brazil', we're talking about a country that has long set the pace for global coffee production. This is no coincidence. The combination of vast plateaus, a stable climate, and technologically advanced agriculture makes it possible to grow coffee on a large scale. Still with an emphasis on quality, of course. The Cerrado Mogiana is a prime example of what a modern coffee region can look like.

The Cerrado Mogiana region lies on the border between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais and is among Brazil’s best-structured growing regions. It stretches across elevations of 800 to 1,200 meters, with ideal conditions for arabica coffee plants – warm days, cooler nights, and, above all, a dry season during harvest. Thanks to this, the coffee cherries ripen evenly, giving farmers full control over their processing. The natural method allows the sweetness and body of the coffee bean to shine through.

Another distinctive feature of the region is its organizational structure. Unlike smaller, isolated areas, there is a well-developed system of cooperation between farmers, processors, and exporters. Programs such as the one from which the Brazil Mogiana Reserve Microlot originates bring together production from multiple farms, ensuring not only consistent quality but also the ability to supply coffee in stable volumes. This is why coffees from Cerrado Mogiana frequently appear in the portfolios of roasters around the world.

Access to land has been an important issue in recent years. In Cerrado Mogiana, regenerative agriculture is gaining ground – a farming method that does not merely seek to exploit the land but actively works to restore it. Farmers work with organic matter, rotate crops, support natural biodiversity, and minimize interventions that would disrupt the ecosystem’s balance. The result is not only long-term sustainable production but also consistent coffee quality you can rely on year after year.

Coffee packaging preview

Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.

Instructions for preparation

  1. Grind your coffee according to your preferred method.
  2. Use 1.5-2 teaspoons (approx. 7g) for 1 cup of coffee.
