Origins
The largest coffee and milk production in all of Brazil comes from the southeastern region of Minas. Other than a sea, it's dotted with caves, mountains, waterfalls and deposits of rare minerals. And the coffee grown here is just as unique as its geography. Coffee plants (Coffea arabica) are grown in a stunning hilly landscape. The extensive plantations are mostly tended by family businesses which supply the world with high quality coffee beans. The climate, altitude and humidity make the coffee from the South of Minas one of the best in the world.
The fruit of the coffee tree, a fleshy red drupe, is harvested either once a year or throughout the growing season. While this is a more time and cost consuming process, it ensures that only the ripest fruit is harvested and therefore the yield has the highest quality coffee. Beneath the leathery skin are two light green coffee beans. The process of producing quality coffee from the fruit involves harvesting, sorting, removing the skin and pulp, fermenting and drying. Everything is very carefully supervised, as any subtle deviation in the technology can mean lowered quality.
The best coffee is freshly roasted coffee. That's why we import processed raw beans from Brazil and roast the coffee only after you order!
Benefits of coffee
Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
