Ingredients
100 % ArabicaTaste & Crema
The foundation of this coffee is precise care with an experienced selection process of a wide variety of coffee plants, which is clearly reflected in the final beverage. The taste is harmonious, with a natural sweetness that's typical for high-quality Brazilian microlots. It's dominated by the notes of ripe fruit and mild caramel which gradually turn into a nutty nuance with a light trace of cocoa. Thanks to the combination of coffee varieties as well as a careful drying process on elevated terraces or in mechanical driers, the flavor profile gives a pure and balanced impression. The acidity is on the milder side, not too overpowering. On the other hand, the body is pleasantly full and smooth.
Origins
If you look at a map of Brazil’s coffee-growing regions, you’ll find Minas Gerais among the most significant. And that’s no coincidence. The combination of a stable climate, plenty of sunshine, and higher elevations creates conditions in which coffee cherries ripen slowly and evenly. This is precisely one of the keys to the fuller flavor and natural sweetness that you can so clearly taste in a cup of Brazil Sítio Belém Dulce Souza Microlot. The Sítio Belém farm, spanning roughly 20 hectares, is no insignificant producer. On the contrary, its long family history began as early as 1859. At that time, Mato Dentro owned the farm and laid the foundations of a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. Each subsequent generation added something of its own – new varieties, new technologies, but also the courage to push things further. Major milestones came one after another. The planting of the first coffee trees at Fazenda Pinhal do Campestre in 1878, a period of prosperity at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries when the farm gained access to what were then modern technologies, or the expansion of production to tens of thousands of coffee trees during the time of the current owner Dulce’s grandfather. Back then, coffee from the farm was still laboriously transported to processing facilities on ox carts. Sítio Belém itself was established in 1990, when Dulce Souza and Ablandino carried on the family legacy while also reshaping it according to contemporary standards of specialty coffee. The farm’s name refers to the 'House of Bread' – a place meant to symbolize abundance, care, and meaningful work. And that's exactly what is reflected in the farm’s daily reality. Harvesting is done primarily by hand, as this is the only way to ensure a truly selective picking of ripe cherries. Where it's efficient, mechanical harvesting processes are used, but the key decisions remain in the hands of people. Harvesting is followed by careful drying, both on concrete terraces and in mechanical dryers. This allows us to adapt to current conditions and maintain consistent quality. The variety mix itself also plays a major role. In addition to traditional Brazilian varieties, the Brazil Sítio Belém Dulce Souza Microlot coffee also features more modern and experimental lines, allowing the farm to work with diverse flavor profiles. The result is not a uniform coffee, but a vibrant, complex product that reflects both the specific location and the decisions of the people behind it.

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee.
