Ingredients
100 % Arabica, AromaTaste & Crema
Chocolate-Orange Flavored Coffee lives up to its name. High-quality arabica from the Peruvian Andes gives it a pleasant lightness and clean body with subtle notes of chocolate and a gentle, light crema. With a touch of citrus, and you have a coffee that can be enjoyed in many varieties.
Origins
For true coffee connoisseurs, the Puno region, where this fine arabica is grown, needs no introduction. But you may be one of the casual or novice tasters, so let us briefly mention Peru's coffee plant-covered hills.
Peru is one of the top producers of plantation coffee. It ranks around 5th in the world in arabica exports. There are several plantations on the slopes of the Andes whose coffee is popular among baristas at most of the famous coffee shops. The Typica variety is a proven classic. Native to Ethiopia, Typica coffee trees grow to a height of around 4m and produce less than other varieties, but their coffee is at its best. They thrive in the hills of the Peruvian Andes. The mild to cool climate and specific soil conditions give the coffee a unique flavor and aroma.
This coffee has been processed using a method known as washing. The red coffee cherries were poured into water and pushed through a grinding tray. This stripped the farmers of the pulp. The coffee beans that were released from the cherries were left to ferment for a few hours, then dried either in ovens or, weather permitting, in the sun.
How did this Andean arabica get its chocolate-orange flavor? We used a natural aroma, of course. As soon as you order your coffee, our roaster dusts it with carrier oil and roasts it to perfection. It loses none of its natural qualities and absorbs the subtle notes of chocolate and oranges.
Making Flavored Coffee in an Automatic Coffee Maker
|
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations: The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot on prolonged contact.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
Instructions for preparation
Grind your coffee according to your preferred method.
Use 14ml of water per 1g of coffee. For 1 cup of coffee use 7g.
Add your coffee and pour over with boiled water (95°C).
