Ethiopia Sidamo Grade1 – Roasted Coffee
Always freshly roasted, always of the highest quality! Another Ethiopian delicacy with exquisite fruity aromas and origins in one of the world's oldest coffee farms arrived to our roasters. Sidamo is named after the original inhabitants of the Kaffa Kingdom. We will never know what happened to them, but we're certain that the extraordinary Sidamo coffee is in demand all over the world.
Ingredients
100 % ArabicaTaste & Crema
This 100% Arabica has light, beautifully shiny and even beans with medium acidity. It is roasted to resemble its unique aroma and luxurious creamy smoothness. A aftertaste of citruses lingers after each sip and stays on your tongue for quite some time. The crema that Sidamo coffee produces when brewed correctly is compact, thick and stable.
Origins
Ethiopia Sidamo comes from one of the oldest coffee plantations in the world. The mountainous forests of southwest Ethiopia harbor small traditional farms dedicated to growing the finest Arabica. Forest Coffee variety is one of the eighty varieties of Arabica. Each farmer chooses the most suitable one, according to the natural conditions and other characteristics of the plantation. Farmers in the Sidamo region, in the southern part of the country, prefer Forest Coffee. Their single-origin plantation coffee is popular among true connoisseurs. The fruit of the coffee plant (Coffea arabica) can be compared to a cherry. They are similar in color and size. However, unlike the familiar fruit, what is of interests to us about coffee cherries is not the flesh, but the kernel, or more precisely the two coffee beans hidden under the tough skin and husk. In Ethiopia, the skins are usually disposed during processing. The fruit of the coffee tree is placed into large tanks of water. Those that remain on the surface are removed (because they are of poor quality), while the cherries that sink to the bottom, along with the water, are sieved through crushing plates to remove the pulp. The coffee is then fermented, stripped of the last skins and mucilage, and then dried. First in the sun, then in drying ovens.

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
