India Parchment PB Robusta – Roasted Coffee
It's different. It's round, hard, bold, tiny – it's peaberry. This coffee is rare and undoubtedly attractive. Unlike usual coffee beans, which appear in pairs, these so-called pearls grow single, making them rounder, more concetrated and with perfectly balanced flavor. Indian robusta peaberry is one of the best. Taste it on its own, or try mixing it with your favorite arabica.

India Robusta Parchment PB coffee has a full-bodied, dense flavor with hints of chocolate. It is a unique coffee with a specific flavor. It is suitable for both its preparation and in blends with high-quality arabicas. This robusta gives a firm and high, compact crema.
Origins
In India, coffee has been cultivated since the late 17th century when the first arabica coffee plantations were planted in the Babab Budan Giri region. Today, local farmers also grow high-quality robusta, and coffee plants cover much of the mountainous areas of the southern regions. Karnataka accounts for the largest annual production, followed by Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Experts say that Indian coffee is one of the best shade-grown coffees in the world. About 250,000 people make a living from its production. Nearly 3/4 of the harvest goes to Germany, Russia, Spain, Belgium, and other countries.
What exactly makes India Robusta Parchment PB special? It is the last 2 letters. Behind the abbreviation "PB," you will find the word "peaberry." It refers to coffee beans which have developed in the coffee cherry without their twin. The fruits of the coffee plants, which resemble a cherry in color and shape, usually contain 2 seeds. They develop with flat sides together. However, it sometimes happens (and scientists admit that they still do not know for sure when or why) that only one of the seeds develops in the fruit. It is smaller, harder, and also more aromatic. Such a mutation is rare, with PB beans reportedly making up about 5% of the entire crop.
The rare peaberry, or pearl coffee, is highly prized for its utterly unique, extremely intense flavor and aroma. Its scarcity is also because the sorting of beans according to whether they are ''classic'' or pearl is done by a minimum of growers. Fortunately, Indian farmers are well aware of their originality and potential. Robusta peaberry is excellent on the filter, in the French press, and from the espresso machine.

Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee.
