Origins
Finca Rosenheim is renowned among baristas. Nestled in the scenic countryside, this family-run farm manages about 60 hectares of land, with 1/3 dedicated to coffee plants that yield coffee beans of remarkable quality. The remaining area accommodates beehives, lodging, processing facilities, and, most importantly, wildlife. Visitors are welcomed between May and September. The hospitable owners are always eager to involve guests in the care of the coffee plants, the harvest of the ripe red coffee cherries, and the processing of the coffee.
Apart from an immersive experience, guests also leave with some exceptional coffee. Indeed, the Peru SHB EP Finca Rosenheim is among the finest in Peru. It holds the Rainforest Alliance certification, attesting to the farm's commitment to biodiversity and sustainable practices. Currently, such certification is possessed by around 2.5 million farmers across over 70 countries. You can probably guess that the Rosenheims handle their coffee with exceptional care.
They cultivate coffee plants without industrial fertilizers, handpick the red cherries, wash them, and sun-dry the green beans. The coffee comes specifically from Bourbon coffee plants – tall shrubs that flourish best at high altitudes. While these plants yield an average amount, their coffee is celebrated for its superior taste and high-quality aroma. Bourbon was brought to the Americas in the late 19th century and has spread from Brazil to various regions in South and Central America, where it continues to grow today.
The term ''SHB'' (Strictly Hard Bean) in the coffee's name signifies a hard bean, and ''EP'' (European Preparation) indicates that the coffee meets the highest packaging standards.

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
