Taste & Crema

The taste of this coffee is balanced and layered. The foundation has subtle notes of dark chocolate and nuts, which are typical of Brazilian arabica. But the addition of raspberry flavor gives the drink a whole new dimension. It’s refreshing, and slightly sweet and fruity. The aftertaste can be described as long, smooth, and clean.

Origins

Do you ever crave an exceptional cup of coffee, but would rather leave out the caffeine? Do you sometimes crave something fresh, light, something that leaves a trace of a summer afternoon on your palate? If you said yes, this coffee is for you. Decaffeinated, comforting, and with an irresistible raspberry twist.

It's based on carefully selected 100% Bourbon arabica. We've brought it from the Sul de Minas region of Brazil, located in the southern state of Minas Gerais. There, rolling hills alternate with valleys, providing the ideal balance between sunny days and regular rain. At an altitude of 1,200-1,300m, the coffee plants thrive exceptionally well – especially when tended by small farmers with generations of experience, and an eye for detail. Coffee grown here has pleasantly low acidity, full body, and notes of chocolate and nuts that linger long after the last sip.

And to make this delicious treat available to everyone, it undergoes the Swiss Water decaffeination method. It’s a clean, gentle, and completely natural process in which the green beans are soaked in water and the caffeine is slowly extracted from them using carbon filters. The whole process takes around 10 hours, during which the temperature and flow rate must be carefully controlled to preserve the natural flavor of the coffee. After, the caffeine content is less than 0.01% yet still full of all the unique flavor nuances.

To add even more, we mixed in some raspberry flavoring. Its fruity aroma is embedded deep into the structure of the coffee beans and lasts until you enjoy your fragrant cup of coffee. Why did we choose raspberries? Their popularity in the world is growing every year. In 2022, the world raspberry production exceeded 950,000t and continues to rise year on year. People have fallen in love with them not only for their taste, but also for their natural freshness and association with summer, vitality, and purity.

So, when you sip this decaffeinated raspberry treat, make sure to savor the combination of the power of the Brazilian mountains, the honest work of the farmers, and the refreshing handful of raspberries. Whether you enjoy it in the morning, in the evening, or on your afternoon break, you’ll always be pleasantly surprised.

Coffee packaging preview

Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.

Instructions for preparation

1. Grind your coffee according to your preferred method.
2. Use 14ml of water per 1g of coffee. For 1 cup of coffee use 7g.
