SUMMER espresso blend of selected coffee beans
Balance is delicate, and harmony is valuable. This limited-edition espresso blend is one that successfully captures both. It unifies premium single-origin arabicas, each roasted individually so their flavours coalesce into a delightful composition - the perfect summer ballad. You'll discover dark chocolate, juicy strawberries, and the aroma of a cedar forest. A slight smoky aftertaste evokes the sensation of a warm summer evening.
Ingredients
100 % ArabicaCrema and coffee taste
The espresso Summer blend of select coffee beans is built on the base of four single-origin specialties. The Arabicas we've selected abound with many attractive flavours. Among them, we find caramel, lime, apple, strawberry, vanilla, herbs, tobacco, cedarwood, and also a slightly bitter earthiness. Thanks to the extremely careful process of roasting each variety separately, so that the most interesting notes emerge, and the conscientious search for the ideal ratio of varieties, an espresso blend with an absolutely unmistakable taste reminiscent of real summer has been assembled. It's chocolatey bitter, and strawberry fresh at the same time, with a cedary fragrance and a mysterious smokiness. This espresso blend is suitable for all types of espresso preparation, but you can also achieve interesting results using a Chemex or a filter.
Origin of coffee
Creating a truly outstanding espresso blend is a feat worthy of a master. Luckily, we have one, so thanks to his experience, refined palate and olfactory senses, we can offer you another of the season's delights. The summer one is built to accentuate the atmosphere of a holiday - perhaps on a hot beach, but also in a shady garden or in the cool mountains. Summer, just the way you like it. Full of diverse aromas, full of wonderful flavours.
Each of the four singles in the origin Specialty Coffee has been roasted separately, just long enough and to just the right degree to lend something of its uniqueness to the resulting blend. Which, of course, corresponds to the uniqueness of the other coffees. Yes, it's a science. That's why we love inventing, preparing, and tasting espresso. And that's why we only offer them a few months out of the year. If you crave details, be our guest. It's no secret what we've blended the Summer Espresso blend from. What we guard are the ratios, roasting grades, and times. Indonesia Java Jampit Estate Large Bean A/WP-1X handles the blend's red fruit flavour and creamy smoothness.
It is sourced from a traditional plantation in East Java at altitudes of around 1,100 to 1,600 meters above sea level, established by Dutch settlers in the 18th century. Unlike most Indonesian production, this coffee is processed through a fully-washed method to produce a clean and balanced profile. The beans are dried in direct sunlight.
India Monsooned Malabar is one of India's top coffees. It is also remarkable for the size of the beans, which are beautifully yellow and, when roasted, lighter than usual. We brought it from Karnataka, a region affected by frequent monsoons and winds. The coffee trees are planted at an altitude of 1,700 meters, near fields of cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon. This gives the coffee a slow ripening time but plenty of time to absorb the unique aroma of the high mountains, the nearby Indian Ocean, and the colorful nature. Monsoons process the beans; their flavor is subtly bitter, pleasantly earthy, and smoky.
Honduras' natural Noe Portillo also grew in the hills. Noe Fernando Portillo, the owner of the San Fernando Farm in the Copan region, tends to the coffee trees with his people. The caramel flavour, accompanied by traces of apple and lime, is one of the most sought-after. This is due to the soil conditions and the higher altitude, as well as the processing, using the so-called dry method. Interestingly, the beans have also been dried in a solar dryer.
And we can't forget Nicaragua Las Campanillas Finca Los Potrerillos. It is a high-mountain, washed Arabica from the Jinotega region. Thanks to the altitude of over 1,700 meters at which the beans were grown, it has an even acidity, is freshly citrusy, and is beautifully balanced.

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
