Tiramisu – Flavored Roasted Coffee
The intensity of coffee is not related to caffeine content. However, the intensity of the culinary experience is definitely related to quality. We always choose high-quality beans for the production of flavored coffee and the skill of our roaster and the purely natural flavoring are unrivaled. This time, it's in the style of the popular Italian dessert, tiramisu.

Origins
Plantation coffee from Peru is renowned for its high quality. The Typica variety which is grown in the foothills of the Andes, is not a high-yielding variety but is extremely high-quality. In professional circles, it is ranked at the level of organic coffee. The small farmers who tend to the coffee trees in the Andes do not have the means to afford synthetic fertilizers or spray treatments. Therefore, Puno coffee is free of heavy metals and other harmful substances. The rather demanding wet method is used to process the coffee cherries; 130-150l of water are required to produce one kilogram of coffee. The tanks must be kept clean, and the water must be fresh.
The reward is delicious coffee with a fruity note and a very fresh taste. After harvesting, the fruit of the coffee tree is placed into water, where the pulp is mechanically removed. The released beans are further fermented in special fermentation tanks for approximately 36 hours. Thanks to the action of microorganisms the coffee beans are stripped of the remaining pulp and skins. The final step, drying, occurs either in direct sunlight or in drying ovens. It is always necessary to take care that the coffee has access to air to prevent the formation of mold.
We buy green coffee from plantations, i.e., unroasted. The actual roasting is done by our roaster just before we send the coffee to you. In the case of flavored coffee, the beans are sprayed with carrier oil and only then roasted.
Making Flavored Coffee in an Automatic Coffee Machine
|
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations: The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot on prolonged contact.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
