Ingredients
100 % Arabica, AromaTaste & Crema
Vanilla, hazelnuts, and coffee – together they make a delicious beverage. Its base is a washed highland arabica. That's the source of the fruity notes and a slight sweetness. The crema is smooth and light yet dense and compact.
Origins
Puno coffee from Peru has been around for over 200 years. The excellent soil and climatic conditions of the Andes give it the desirable flavor and aromatic qualities, while the skilled hands of experienced farmers guarantee high-quality processing. Up to 98% of the farmers in the area are smallholders. But this does not detract from their quality.
On the contrary, coffee is their only livelihood. They work on the plantations with their entire families. Because small buyers like us buy coffee from them, they do not have to go below the fair price or good quality. However, that is not the case with large plantations that supply coffee to multinationals.
Coffee is continuously harvested from coffee plants (Coffea arabica) throughout the growing season. It eliminates the number of unripe beans in the harvest. Puna opts for the more expensive and demanding option of processing the coffee berries, known as washing. However, the result is a high-quality coffee with a long shelf life. Washing (fully washed, wet-processed) begins with the coffee cherries poured into special water containers. In these, the low-quality fruits are separated, and the good ones are removed from the pulp by machine.
Then comes the fermentation in vessels and drying either in the sun or special ovens. The flavoring of the coffee is on the shoulders of our experienced roaster. He sprays the beans with a carrier oil with a natural aroma and then roasts them. The cheaper process (roasting first, then adding the flavoring) will not guarantee the long-term preservation of aroma and flavor.
Making Flavored Coffee in an Automatic Coffee Machine
|
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations: The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot on prolonged contact.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
Instructions for preparation
Grind your coffee according to your preferred method.
Use 14ml of water per 1g of coffee. For 1 cup of coffee use 7g.
