AeroPress Go Travel
AeroPress Go was created to answer the demand for a truly portable coffee maker – and it quickly became the favorite companion for those who want to enjoy their coffee on the go. The entire set easily fits into a travel mug, so you can take your caffeinated routine with you anywhere: on a hike, your travels, or even to work.
This compact helper combines the properties of French Press, pour-over, and a regular coffee maker. The process is simple, quick, and variable at same time. It allows you to experiment with the water temperature, extraction length, even the coarseness of the grind, all to help you achieve the perfect taste.
How to make an Americano:
- Use a medium-fine ground coffee.
- Bring water to a boil. If you have a kettle with adjustable temperature, heat it to 85°C.
- Pull out the piston to separate it from the chamber.
- Insert a filter (paper or metal) into the lid.
- Screw the lid on the chamber.
- Place the chamber over the AeroPress GO travel mug and add 11g of coffee (¾ of the measuring spoon). Settle the coffee by shaking it slightly.
- Pour in water until it reaches the guideline (3) on the chamber. (Note: A small amount of coffee passing through the filter is normal. If the coffee passes too quickly, use a finer grind.)
- Gently mix for 10 seconds. Then push the piston roughly 1cm in the chamber.
- Use gentle, steady pressure to push the piston (avoid excessive force). You should feel slight resistance. If you find it hard to push the piston, your coffee is ground too finely.
- Remove the lid of the filter and push the piston all the way down until you hear a hissing sound and the coffee grounds fall out.
How to make an Espresso:

- Pull out the piston to separate it from the chamber.
- Insert a filter (paper or metal) into the lid.
- Screw the lid on the chamber.
- Place the chamber over the AeroPress GO travel mug and add 15g of coffee (1 measuring spoon) for a single espresso, or 30g of coffee (2 measuring spoons) for a double espresso. Settle the coffee by shaking it slightly.
- Pour in water until it reaches the guideline (1) for single espresso or (2) for double espresso.
- Gently mix for 10 seconds. Then push the piston roughly 1cm in the chamber and let it sit for 30 seconds.

How to make Cold brew:
- Prepare room temperature water.

- Mix vigorously for 1 minute.
- Push in the piston and apply gentle, steady pressure (avoid excessive force). You should feel slight resistance. If you find it hard to push the piston, your coffee is ground too finely.
- Remove the lid of the filter and push the piston all the way down until you hear a hissing sound and the coffee grounds fall out.
- Serve. Optionally, you may add ice.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Remove used coffee: Unscrew the lid. Hold the AeroPress over a waste bin and push the piston all the way down. Coffee grounds as well as the paper filter will fall out automatically.
- Clean the parts: The piston, chamber, and lid can be rinsed in warm running water.
- Clean the sealing: Gently clean the rubber seal of the piston with your finger or a soft sponge to remove any coffee residue and oils.
- Allow to dry completely.
- Avoid strong cleaning liquids as well as rough sponges to avoid damage to the product.
- Not dishwasher safe.
- Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Safety Warning:
- Hot liquids may cause severe burns.
- While pushing the piston, hold the travel mug GO as well as the chamber steadily in one hand while you use the other to apply pressure on the piston down vertically.
- Never push the piston if the seal isn't perfect. Leaking hot water may cause burns.
- Never push the piston down over a fragile mug or a cup with a narrow bottom.
- Never use excessive force to push down the piston. You risk breaking the machine and spilling hot liquids.
- Inverted method: Some people prefer using AeroPress upside down, also known as the inverted method. We recommend avoiding this method, as it is less stable and may lead to more accidents or burns.
- Avoid exposure to high temperatures, open fire, or stoves.
- Do not use a visibly damaged product.
- Keep out of reach of children.
