Brazil Mogiana Reserve Microlot – Light Roast Coffee
Light-roasted Brazil Mogiana Reserve Microlot is a perfect example of why selection Brazilian coffees are growing in popularity among filter coffee enthusiasts. Light roasting underlines the natural sweetness and subtle fruity notes of the beans and opens up a profile full of floral notes, juicy fruit, and elegant acidity. Each sip feels pure, lively, and fluid. Just as you'd expect from a perfectly processed microlot.
Ingredients
100 % ArabicaTaste & Crema
If brewed on filter, Brazil Mogiana Reserve Microlot is exceptionally layered and refreshing. The first sip will already bring you intense, fruity sweetness reminiscent of ripe forest fruit and stone fruit, both of which are slowly joined by subtle floral notes. Light roasting gives way to a higher, pleasantly juicy acidity, so the drink feels lively and very comprehensive. What's more, a trace of fermentation adds depth and complexity to the taste without muddying the experience. In the finish, you can look forward to a honeyed sweetness with a slight note of orange flowers.
Origins
The Cerrado Mogiana region is one of Brazil’s most interesting regions – at least if you’re a lover of top-quality coffee. It stretches along the border between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, in an undulating landscape with plenty of sunshine, cooler nights, and significant differences between day and night temperatures. It is precisely these conditions that allow the coffee cherries to ripen more slowly. As a result, they develop greater sweetness, a more pronounced aroma, and a more complex flavor profile. Brazil is now the world’s largest coffee producer; in fact, it has been associated with coffee plants since the 18th century. Here, coffee is not just an agricultural commodity but literally part of the national identity. Vast plantations, an ideal climate, and decades of experience the farmers have gathered have given rise to regions that set the standard for global specialty coffee production. Mogiana is one such region, producing coffee prized for its clean flavor, sweetness, and consistent quality. Brazil Mogiana Reserve Microlot comes from carefully selected harvests by small-scale producers who give meticulous attention to every stage of production. The 'microlot' designation means that the coffee was set apart from the regular harvest due to its exceptional quality and character. Farmers monitor the ripeness of the cherries literally day by day and harvest only those fruits at the ideal stage of ripeness. The beans were processed using the natural method, which involves traditionally drying whole coffee cherries in the sun. During this process, sugars and aromatic compounds from the pulp are gradually transferred into the beans, giving the coffee sweetness, fruitiness, and a subtle fermented character. Furthermore, a light roast fully brings out nuances that would remain hidden in a darker roasting degree – particularly floral notes, juicy acidity, and delicate fruity elegance. Brazilian coffee is often associated primarily with a chocolatey profile and low acidity. This Mogiana Reserve, however, reveals a different side of the region’s plantations. Thanks to a light roast designed for drip brewing, it tastes cleaner, livelier, and much more complex. It proves that even Brazil can offer coffee full of delicacy, fruity juiciness, and surprising aromatic depth.

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
