Ingredients
100 % Arabica, AromaTaste & Crema
Cherry coffee will captivate you after the first taste. Actually, no, you'll fall in love with it as soon as you open the bag. It smells delightful. Whether you prepare it on filter or brew it in a coffee machine, you'll always appreciate the full, rounded body topped with the cherry flavor. The foam is light and delicate, with small bubbles.
Origins
Coffee in the Peruvian Andes is grown and produced almost exclusively by small farmers. Their small plantations are located in hard-to-reach places, which is one of the reasons why coffee from Peru, and specifically the Puno region, contains no residues of fertilizers or pesticides.
Transporting them to the plantations would be both physically and financially very demanding. The coffee plants are harvested several times so that their cherry-like fruits are as ripe as possible.
Processing is carried out by washing (wet method), during which the coffee cherries are poured into water, pushed through crushing plates, and fermented in special fermentation tanks (for up to 36 hours). This removes the pulp and skins and gives them their typical flavor and aroma. The drying process takes place mostly on concrete surfaces under direct sunlight.
We flavor the beans using natural flavoring. This delicate step is entirely in the hands of our roaster, who sprays the coffee with a carrier oil before roasting.
Making Flavored Coffee in an Automatic Coffee Machine
|
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations: The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot on prolonged contact.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |
Benefits of coffee
Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
Instructions for preparation
Grind your coffee according to your preferred method.
Use 14ml of water per 1g of coffee. For 1 cup of coffee use 7g.
Add your coffee and pour over with boiled water (95°C).
