Ingredients
100 % Arabica, AromaTaste & Crema
Cinnamon Apple Pie coffee is part of the ‘balanced, fragrant, and warm’ category. The foundation is a mild arabica with notes of nuts and cocoa – a perfect base for the strong aroma of baked apples. The taste is mostly sweet and refreshing thanks to the apples, which are complemented by spicy cinnamon and smooth caramel. The result feels natural, pleasant, exactly like your favorite dessert in liquid form. This coffee isn’t for the prudish – it’s for people who love to indulge.
Origins
We’ve based our Cinnamon Apple Pie on the excellent Brazil Santos NY2 coffee, named after the port of Santos in the state of São Paulo. It’s an important center of the Brazilian coffee trade, exporting fragrant beans all over the world, and has been for a very long time.
The history of Brazilian coffee dates back to 1727, when the first coffee plants arrived in Brazil from French Guiana. If the stories are to be believed, it was thanks to a certain Portuguese officer. During the 19th century, Brazil established itself as a world coffee powerhouse. In the 1850s, it accounted for approximately 40% of world production. Coffee became the driving force behind economic expansion, supporting the development of railways, industrialization, and immigration from Europe and Japan, and transforming São Paulo into one of Brazil's most important metropolises.
Arabica Santos NY2 is classified as ""Fine Cup,"" meaning premium quality. Thanks to its 17/18 bean size, it allows for homogeneous roasting and thus delivers a stable flavor profile. It’s a very smooth coffee with low acidity accompanied by hints of nuts, cocoa, and subtle sweetness. This makes it an ideal base for both espresso blends and bases for flavored coffee.
Brazil Santos is traditionally processed using the ""natural"" (dry process) or ""washed"" (wet process) methods. The latter is often used for the NY2 variety – the red coffee berries are first sorted, then fermented, and finally dried after the pulp has been removed.
In our flavored version, we have combined classic, mild Brazilian coffee with the aroma of apples, cinnamon, and caramel to make your cup of coffee feel like a delicious, baked dessert.
Making Flavored Coffee in an Automatic Coffee Maker
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations:
The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot upon prolonged contact.
Always use only as much flavored coffee as you will immediately consume.
After preparing your flavored coffee, make your next cup with unflavored coffee.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric).
Benefits of coffee
Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
Instructions for preparation
- Grind your coffee according to your preferred method.
- Use 14ml of water per 1g of coffee. For 1 cup of coffee use 7g.
- Add your coffee and cover with boiled water (95°C).
