Making flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker

If you intend to use flavored coffee to make a beverage in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to make sure this is possible. If the manufacturer of the machine does not provide any information about flavoured coffee, please follow these recommendations. The natural aroma that flavors this coffee may react with the plastic in the hopper and cause it to turn white on prolonged contact.
This is also a good rule to follow for grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |
