Origins
On the picturesque La Bella farm in the Sierra de las Minas in Guatemala, managed by the Engelhardt family since 1960, high-quality Caturra coffee grows. It is known for its subtle, complex flavors that include fruit, chocolate, caramel and roasted almonds.
Farmer Teodoro Engelhardt uses growing methods based on a rich family tradition. Thanks to the ideal tropical climate and the fertile volcanic soil of the El Progreso region, the local coffee cherries are full of flavor and aroma.
The fruit of the coffee trees is processed using the full wash method, which involves fermentation lasting 60-72 hours, followed by drying on terraces. In this way, the farmer ensures the quality and freshness of the flavors of his coffee. The result is a unique coffee with a rich and balanced profile reflecting the family tradition and craftsmanship of the 4th generation of farmers.
Guatemala produces about 3.6 million bags of coffee a year. Nearly a quarter of its population is involved in its production and processing. The vast majority of Guatemala's coffee trees are arabica varieties. Farmers grow them in the shade, and because the country provides around 300 different types of microclimates, the flavors of Guatemalan coffee have an incredible range.

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
