Arabica, Lion's mane BIO, GinsengTaste & Crema
The foundation of this adaptogen coffee is the popular Brazil Santos NY2 SSFC 17/18, signature for its notes of nuts, chocolate, and subtle sweetness. The lion’s mane mushroom adds a mild, slightly sweet flavor that nicely complements the entire impression while ginseng adds an herbal note and subtle earthiness. Overall, this coffee is harmonious, pure, and appealing.
Origins
Let's start by saying that Brazil is not only the largest coffee producer on the planet, it’s also a country where coffee has become part of its identity, culture, and everyday life. Coffee trees were first grown here in the 18th century, and since then, Brazil has dominated the global coffee market in terms of both volume and quality.
Brazilian coffee is renowned for its smoothness, low acidity, and pleasant sweetness. In cities such as São Paulo and in the regions of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, coffee trees (Coffea arabica) are grown in the ideal conditions: on fertile soil, in a mild climate, and with plenty of sun and rainfall. Brazilian beans are therefore popular for their balance and versatility. They taste great on their own and also work well as a base for espresso or various coffee blends.
How do Brazilians like to enjoy their coffee? For example, they largely enjoy the so-called cafezinhos – small cups of sweet coffee available on almost every corner and on any occasion. Coffee culture permeates family and work life here and is a symbol of hospitality. Brazilian farmer families, many of whom have been farming for generations, are now at the forefront of innovation in sustainable agriculture and coffee processing.
We have added two modern allies to this wonderful roast: lion's mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus) and Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus).
Lion's Mane mushroom is a highly valued adaptogen. It’s a spherical to oval-shaped mushroom resembling a lion's mane, hence the colloquial name. Among the most important compounds it contains are hericenones and erinacines capable of stimulating the production of nerve growth factor (NGF), polysaccharides (especially beta-glucans), as well as sterols, terpenoids, amino acids, and important minerals.
Siberian ginseng is also an important adaptogen that helps the body cope with stress and restore internal balance. This thorny, deciduous shrub, which grows to a height of 1-3 m, is particularly interesting for its strongly aromatic root. It’s a source of important flavonoids, carbohydrates, lipids, essential oils, and resins which support physical and mental health and recovery, cognitive and mental performance, blood circulation, and natural defenses.

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
Instructions for preparation
- Add 2 teaspoons (approx. 7g) per 1 cup of water.
- Pour over the coffee with boiling water and steep for 5 minutes.
