Chocolate-Mint – Flavored Roasted Coffee
In Italy, they sprinkle coffee with cinnamon; in Greece, they mix in Ouzo. But have you tried coffee flavored with chocolate and mint? It's time to explore this delightful blend of sweet and minty, thick and refreshing. The saying 'everything in moderation' doesn't apply for this flavored 100% arabica. Enjoy it as often as you wish!
Ingredients
100 % Arabica, AromaTaste & Crema
The coffee from Puno has a unique character and a pleasant sweetness. It is exquisitely smooth yet intense in the company of chocolate and mint. The taste is harmonious. When properly prepared and ground, the coffee has a light and resilient crema that quickly spreads back across the surface of the cup when spooned out.
Origins
For this plantation coffee, we travel to the high mountains of Peru. The Puno region is known worldwide for producing the Typica variety, which, although lower-yielding, has a great flavor and is of high quality. With few exceptions, coffee plants are mainly grown by smallholders, with plantations high in the Andes mountains. This is why they do not use industrially produced fertilizers and products to grow or treat their coffee.
Firstly, they are unaffordable for the poor farmers, and secondly, it is almost impossible to transport them to high-altitude areas. Coffee is harvested several times a season in the Andes, because the fruit of the coffee tree ripens gradually, and by harvesting several times a season, farmers achieve the stage of peak ripeness with every cherry. Those are then processed using the wet method: The cherries are soaked in water, and the pulp is removed by pushing them through special grates. The coffee beans are fermented in fermentation vessels for up to 36 hours.
The farmers then spread them out on concrete surfaces and dry them in direct sunlight. The result is green coffee that is further sorted, packaged, and traded. We buy our coffee unroasted. We have our own roasting plant; Thanks to this, we always offer our customers fresh coffee. We roast our coffee in small batches to avoid the coffee sitting unnecessarily long in our warehouse and losing its precious aroma. The roaster does the flavouring before roasting by spraying the coffee beans with a carrier oil with a purely natural flavoring.
Making flavored coffee in an automatic coffee machine:
|
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations: The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot on prolonged contact.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
