Raspberry – Flavored Roasted Coffee
What comes to mind when you think of summer? For us, it is the aroma of raspberries. Lush hillsides, the setting sun, and the distant call of the cuckoo. Now, you can evoke such picturesque romance just by stirring your coffee. All it takes is brewing a pot of raspberry coffee and inviting your loved ones to gather around the table. Do this, irrespective of the season. After all, moments of connection are precious and rare.
Ingredients
100 % Arabica, AromaTaste & Crema
The basis of the Raspberry Coffee is roasted coffee from the Marcala region of Honduras with medium acidity and a faint caramel taste. Combined with the natural aroma of raspberries, the coffee is light, fresh, and elegant. Because it is 100% arabica, it will delight you with its delicate crema.
Origins
Coffee from Honduras is rising to prominence. In 2011, Buena Vida Coffee named it the best in Central America and the second-best washed coffee in the world. A year later, the Special Coffees Association of America welcomed the country as one of its elite coffee producers. It is no wonder that Honduran coffee is in high demand. And our roaster chose it to make a flavorful, beautifully raspberry-like coffee for connoisseurs.
Coffee trees in Honduras grow at an altitude of around 1,500m. They are usually grown by local farmers in areas of no more than 2 hectares. Coffee cherries are most often processed using the wet method, which means that after being plucked, they go into water mills that remove the skin and pulp. The loosened beans then ferment in fermentation vessels for several hours or days. This process brings out the light, fruity flavors in the beans. The green beans are prepared this way and then go to our roaster. It is up to the roaster's skill, care, and experience to decide what kind of coffee to send into the world. And because his hands are nimble and his sense of coffee refined, he has created a flavored coffee par excellence!
It is not an easy task. He chooses a more demanding way of flavoring and works with purely natural aromatics. Unlike most post-roasting flavoring, he sprays it on the coffee before roasting. The aroma is thus better incorporated into the coffee and stays longer. However, it is crucial to pay close attention to the process's temperature, length, and other parameters. In conclusion, natural flavoring is derived from plant material, not synthetically produced. Therefore, it does not burden the body or cause heartburn or other discomforts.
Making Flavored Coffee in an Automatic Coffee Maker
|
If you intend to make flavored coffee in an automatic coffee maker with a tray, we recommend checking the instructions for the coffee maker to ensure this is possible. If the machine manufacturer does not provide any information on flavored coffee, follow these recommendations: The natural aroma in this coffee may react with the plastic in the tray and cause it to spot on prolonged contact.
Apply same rules when grinding flavored coffee in grinders (both manual and electric). |

Coffee packaging preview
Our quality aluminum packaging lacks any bold graphics, as we’d rather focus on the taste of our coffee. It always comes fresh thanks to degassing valve, which releases the gases that occur after roasting. Thanks to the hermetic seal, this container helps the contents further keep their freshness and protect them against humidity, light or foreign odors.
